School and Corporate Self-Defense Courses
We have set structured schools, but they can also be modified based on the needs of the group.
After taking the class I feel empowered.
Growing up we were told that ladies should be seen and not heard, but now I realize that I have to give myself permission to do whatever will help me protect myself. If I need to raise my voice to lift the ceiling, then I will do it!

School and Corporate Self-Defense Courses
5-Day Self-Defence Course – Students are introduced to the basic concepts and techniques of personal protection and taken through a warm-up consisting of cardio, strength, and Range of Motion components.
Topics include:
We introduce some ground self-defence elements, with the biggest focus on getting back to your feet as soon as possible so they can disengage and leave the situation.
This can be modified based on the need of the group, and shortened if the school is looking for less than a five-day course.
Asian Heritage Month School Assemblies with the Brampton Academy of Martial Arts.
Students will be introduced to the Martial Arts culture of Japan through the traditional art of Karate. An interactive assembly that begins with the traditional bow of mutual respect and cooperation. After a quick warm-up to get everyone moving, students will be introduced to some basic Karate techniques, using Japanese terms with English translation.
Your students will learn about the Samurai mindset of Japan and the concept of “Kai Zen Do”, the way of constant improvement. Teachers in Karate are called Sensei in Japanese, which means “someone who is further along the way”. They are more like a lead learner and still improving themselves. A concept that is easily related back to the student’s own schooling and learning.
We would love to share the Japanese culture through Karate training with your students.
