In addition to the physical requirements in class, all students must complete an academic requirement at each level.
We recommend bringing a Karate Notebook to every class for note-taking. If something is unclear, we encourage students to ask questions for clarification or assistance with spelling.
Some answers can be found in the Student Resources section HERE, and some materials are designed for self-reflection.
At each belt level, students must complete the required academic work and submit it to the dojo at the time of their grading. The test to be completed corresponds to the level you are attempting—for example, an Orange Belt will take the Green Belt test.
If you don’t have enough space for your Resume, or you are sharing your Assisting Hours, just create yourself a Folder in Google Drive and share the link to the folder and all your requirements in the Test when you submit it.
Be sure to log in to your account on our Student Portal to ensure your test is saved to your profile.
