I have always had a strong admiration for those who choose to run into the fire… as made apparent this past week at Parliament Hill.
I have read, heard, and watched all of it in the last few days. Individuals who ran towards the shooting and others who ran in aid of a fallen hero. The next day it was back to work to demonstrate resilience in the face of danger.
As Canadians we are a generous and caring nation,to the point of being a little self deprecating at times. However the response to this demonstrates that you should never mistaken kindness for weakness…
