There are various benefits in tournament participation. One would be a community contribution.
Training karate isn’t only about you, it’s about joining a community that shares your values and aspirations. It’s a journey to discover who you are, the community you belong to and what you desire to contribute. As a member, you will determine what you have to share and for what purpose. Even as a spectator, I’m cheering for AMA, witnessing determination and contributing love.
By competing within a ring, you’re sharing yourself, accepting leadership and getting comfortable with who you are. You’re facing your barriers while encouraging others to do the same. The support you offer others supports your endeavours.
As a volunteer at a tournament, you’re helping to ensure a successful event, expressing belief in the community and encouraging all members to strive. Participation inspires, encourages and strengthens the community foundation. Even by greeting families and signing contestants in, I’m supporting my family, connecting with the community and sharing my person.
Contributing to a community you believe in is devotion to your self-growth. You’re adding to your support, gaining confidence in its dependability and finding new paths to explore. Community contribution, the practice of give and take that guides an interactive life experience.
Encouragement for members of AMA to participate in tournament isn’t exclusively to make AMA successful, it’s intended to be successful so all members are inspired for success. Don’t only join for community, get involved for yourself and enjoy growing with the community.
So, to everyone considering tournament participation- Come on out and make a contribution to your community! Every action contributed will enforce our unity! Wouldn’t you be happy supporting a cause you believe in? Isn’t it a comfort belonging to a community of like-minded people?
