“Until One is committed, there is hesitancy, the chance to draw back, always ineffectiveness.”
Goethe
I find the term ‘commitment’ to be an expression that is all too easily tossed around in today’s society. When you consider the definition of the word, a ‘commitment’ is a serious undertaking not to be taken lightly.
A true commitment begins with a thoughtful choice that aligns you with others with the same virtues as yourself.
A commitment is sustained with dedication and perseverance; and is expressed in our thoughts and actions.
A commitment is the giving of time, energy, and ourselves to a person or purpose that is deserving of this gift.
Shihan Cyr
“If you’re walking down the right path and you’re willing to keep walking, eventually you’ll make progress.”
Barack Obama
“Commitment is caring deeply about something or someone. It is deciding carefully what you want to do, then giving it 100%, holding nothing back. You give your all to a friendship, a task, or something you believe in. You finish what you start. You keep your promises.”
